ANDREA MARIA PEMA is a bilingual, multicultural, multifaceted artist who jumpstarted her career as a pioneer in social media after becoming one of the first Latin American fashion bloggers in 2010 with ‘Dear Milano’, a blog which covered fashion, beauty, travel and wellness.
Following the launch of her blog, Andrea Maria spent the next decade building a global community of thousands of readers while traveling the world covering New York, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks. In that time, she became an ambassador for numerous luxury fashion brands such as Chanel, MiuMiu, BVLGARI, Ferragamo and helped create social media campaigns for beauty brands including Tom Ford, Prada, La Prairie and Estée Lauder.
From the inception of ‘Dear Milano’, Andrea Maria also used her blog and social media platforms to share her personal journey of self-discovery. After being a yoga practitioner for many years while living in New York City, she started training and going deeper into the studies of meditation. This exploration took her to the most spiritual energetic power points on the planet, where she studied different spiritual traditions. Throughout this time, she took part in 11 teacher trainings in yoga, kriya, prana, mantra and meditation –totaling thousands of hours.
As she delved deeper into her studies in this space, Andrea Maria went on a meditation trip to the Pyramids of Egypt, where she had a spiritual experience that altered the trajectory of her career. Following the trip, she pivoted from the blogging and fashion world and created OMMM, an online platform to share her daily meditation and spiritual practice.
Since launching OMMM, Andrea Maria has impacted the lives of thousands of practitioners around the world, through 57 monthly programs and over 400 classes in the practice of Yoga, Meditation, Kriya, Pranayama and Mantra. Her global reach soon caught the eye of Spotify, who commissioned her to create a Spotify Original podcast “Aprende a Meditar” to teach Meditation, Prana and Mantra practices. Upon launching, “Aprende a Meditar became a top ‘Wellness’ podcast in multiple weeks, reaching hundreds of thousands of listeners in Latin America.
Most recently, Andrea Maria ventured successfully into the music industry with the launch of her debut album, ‘Songs from the Blue Ethers’ in June 2024, which was created to share New Age Mantra Music in a more modern way to help reach new audiences. The album received over 100,000+ streams in the first months upon release.
Andrea Maria graduated with a degree in marketing from Latin America’s top business school, Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey. She got a second degree in Fashion Design at Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan Italy. Texas born and Mexican raised, she has also lived in Monterrey, New York City, Milan, Paris, London, Bali and can now be found in a mountain sanctuary by the ocean in Malibu.
